Tony Soprano

The guy is an absolute boss. Tony Soprano, the Rutgers Alumni is a guy that everyone looked as the most awesome guy on television. On The Sopranos, which takes place in New Jersey, somewhere where I grew up I automatically fely a deep connection with the show. Being from New Jersey, attending Rutgers, and being Italian, there was no reason for me to not watch this show. Boy, did I not make a mistake because this show was absolutely awesome. The italian family, and the history of the mob, the ways of life some of these mobsters lived is just awesome to see. I may have never been there, but driving past the Bada Bing was so cool to see knowing that this show was filmed there.

Some people might say that the mobster way of life for these Italians was a bad thing, but in reality these are some of the things that took place and it was awesome to learn about. Small things like the tradiitonal sunday dinners, and the italian accents, and the italian food where all things that got me hooked on this show. The character development of Tony Soprano who is the main boss, but is also seeing a psychiatrist was such good proudcing by the director. I do not think there was a better guy on televison than Tony Soprano when this show took place. Everyone wanted to be Tony Soprano.

The Sopranos will always go down as one of the best TV shows of all time, and I think that the reason this show was so great was because of the man himself, James Gandolfinni.
